| Kevin Lenagh has been working on the Terragens agent handbook, now called Contacting Aliens, for eight years. According to an email from Kevin, the book will be published by Bantam at the end of June 2002. It's a guide for new Terragens Agents, and it will include somewhere between seventy and a hundred black-and-white illustrations of races and events from the Uplift books. |

version of the cover painting, showing Thennanin and their clients. Kevin Lenagh's design process for the Thannanin: "The first word I started with was "hulking", I think. It sounded like they were bigger than humans. The only other clues were the breathing slits, the elbow spikes for preening, and the ridge crest. I tried to keep it away from a Terran lizard-look." |
